Prospective candidates for Dáil Elections may use the forms available for download below to register their candidacy. Note that completed forms may only be submitted during the nomination period specified whenever an election is announced.

We are currently accepting applications for work at the forthcoming Presidential Election from people aged 18 years and over.   The date for this election has not yet been announced and offers of employment will not be sent out until after the date has been announced.    To be eligible to work at this election you must not be actively canvassing for any candidate or party in any election which may be held on that day.

Applications must be made through this website by clicking the "Work Application" option on the menu at the left hand side of this page.   The election office is not staffed between elections so we have no facility to accept applications by phone or post.  For the same reason we cannot respond to queries concerning any application.
