NOTICE OF COUNT ARRANGEMENTS – COUNTY MEATH
The segregation of ballot papers and the verification of ballot paper accounts of the Local and European Parliament elections for County Meath will take place at the GAA Centre, Newhaggard Road, Trim, Co Meath on Saturday 8 June 2024 at 9am. Admittance is via count passes only issued from the Election office.
Once the Meath Local election ballot papers have been verified they will be transferred to the Local Count Centre at Simonstown Hall, Navan, Co Meath.
Once the European ballots for County Meath have been verified they will be transmitted to the European Count Centre for the Midlands North West constituency at the TF Royal Hotel, Castlebar, Co Mayo.

The notice of poll contains details of all candidates who are running for election in this constituency and any replacement lists submitted by those candidates.
APPEALS TO REGISTER WESTMEATH AND MEATH
Please note I will receive appeals to the Postal and Special Registers of Counties Westmeath and Meath no later than 18 May 2024.
Please note I will receive appeals to the rolling Electoral Registers of Counties Westmeath and Meath no later than 27 May 2024.
Appeals for County Westmeath will be heard in Mullingar courthouse. Appeals for County Meath will be heard in Trim courthouse.
Appeals are to be sent to the relevant Local Authority.

NOTICE OF EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT ELECTION FOR DUBLIN, MIDLANDS-NORTH-WEST AND SOUTH CONSTITUENCIES
We hereby give notice that an election of members of the European Parliament is to be held in the above constituencies. If the election is contested, a poll will be taken on the 7th day of June, 2024 between the hours of 7am and 10pm.
To be eligible for election a person must be either a citizen of Ireland or a national of another Member State of the European Union ordinarily resident in Ireland.
A person may nominate himself or herself as a candidate or may, with his or her consent, be nominated by a proposer who is a registered European elector in the relevant European Parliament constituency.
A nomination form from a candidate of a registered political party must have a Certificate of Political Affiliation attached which must be produced to the returning officer for your constituency with his or her completed nomination paper.
